GSA contract now includes Honeywell video systems products

LOUISVILLE, Ky., Oct. 2, 2006 – Honeywell today announced that its product schedule on the General Services Administration (GSA) contract has recently been updated to include current Honeywell Video Systems pricing information.

The Honeywell Authorized GSA Provider program allows security dealers to use Honeywell’s GSA contract to sell, install, and provide service contracts to thousands of federal sites. The worldwide federal supply Schedule 084 includes total solutions for law enforcement, security, facility management systems, fire, rescue, and other municipal services. The contract also encompasses FSC Group 63 to cover alarm and signal systems, facility management systems, professional security, facility management services, and guard services.

“This program makes it easy for dealers to use the government procurement channel to provide federal agencies and contractors with Honeywell products and solutions,” said Renee Schureck, key accounts/GSA manager, Honeywell. “Our expertise with the U.S. government gives security dealers the knowledge they need to successfully navigate the federal procurement process.”

Honeywell’s Government Systems Support Team has compiled all the information that dealers need to promote GSA-approved products and contacts, including an authorized federal supply service price list for Honeywell Security products, a special customer information section outlining federal procedures, a resource directory, and catalogs for access, video, and intrusion products.
