PalmSecure palm vein biometric technology to be unveiled at Government Integrator Conference

SUNNYVALE, Calif. - Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Inc., one of the world's leading suppliers of innovative computer products including hard disk drives, peripherals and biometric security solutions, today announced that it will showcase its PalmSecure biometric authentication device at the 2nd annual CMP XChange Government Integrator Conference on May 3-5 in, Washington D.C.

Palm vein recognition technology is uniquely suited to address growing demand for a highly accurate, user friendly biometric security solution. The device works by quickly capturing an image of the internal palm vein pattern and then, using a propriety algorithm, verifying that image against a pre-registered database for authentication. Fujitsu designed PalmSecure for both physical and logical (computer/networked based) access control in sensitive, high-security environments and the device has been successfully implemented in both capacities at public and private sector locations.

The Government Integrator Conference is dedicated to the unique dynamics of the government integrator market. There will be over 110 pre-qualified leading government integrators from across the U.S. participating in this year's event with practice areas that span state, local, federal, and education channels.
