Las Vegas, NV (September 24, 2007) – AirVisual, Inc., a leading solution provider for the enterprise security and public safety markets, is demonstrating their innovative software-driven mobile monitoring and control solutions here at ASIS 2007. AirVisual today announced it has successfully deployed its IntelliViewer 2.0 software for use by first responders and security personnel across the nation, adding the IntelliViewer system to existing and newly deployed networks. The system offers the ability to deliver situational content to responders, both in vehicles and on foot, in real time. Information is delivered both hard wired and wirelessly to responders, over virtually any network. The system integrates disparate security and surveillance systems onto a single emergency response platform; interfacing with video, access control, sensor networks, biometric and crime databases and manages the transmission of the information by compressing, throttling, and managing the content with a “rules and permission†based policy system.
AirVisual has also announced that it has started to add biometric readers and associated software and hardware solutions to its growing list of third party OEM product integrations.
“Sharing video is one way of securing information but there is added security with the ability to scan and verify the true identity of those who may want to cause harm and to further protect those who may be in harm’s way,†expressed Tom Hansen, Founder and CEO of AirVisual, Inc. “By tying in multiple existing video and identification verification systems for access control, AV continues to deliver a far reaching platform that extends mobility and first responder capabilities and offer unlimited ways to utilize the system in an effort to stay a step ahead of criminal activity.â€
AirVisual is pleased to announce the success of its recent Mobile Command System deployments with the Chicago Police Department, Monterey Peninsula Airport and Intrado Corp. The software’s wide ranging equipment and network integration compatibility also recently fostered new partnerships with companies involved in the homeland security and first responder markets.
Additionally, partners will be demonstrating their integrations at ASIS and will be available at several exhibits including ADT/Fire and Security, DataStrip, Pelco, Verint, Dedicated Micros, Genetec, Hirsch Electronics, Panasonic and American Dynamics.
AirVisual’s product suite is comprised of three unique remote applications: IntelliViewer - a software application that enables video surveillance (live and archived video in real time), access control and other security system technologies that protect people and infrastructure, including heat sensors, motion detectors and chemical/biological detection devices, to be accessed, monitored and controlled using any networked or mobile device. For added convenience and ease of operation, IntelliViewer utilizes standard web browsers to provide a graphical user interface (GUI) for configuration and operation, without the need to install custom software.
