Matco launches new day/night surveillance camera

The DDN-540C produces high resolution images and saves space when recording

Matco has announced the release of its new, Super High Resolution Color Day/Night Security Camera DDN-540C. It is one of the best solutions for night vision video surveillance with crystal clear image in an environment as dark as 0.003 lux.

Different from the current Day/Night camera, the DDN-540C is applied with the latest digital video processing technology. A Micro Image Processor Chip is employed to analyze each pixel of the image captured by the 1/3” SONY Super HAD CCD Sensor, and to modify the image data automatically by the selectable Sense-Up function and Digital Noise Reduction (DNR) function until a satisfactory picture is provided. The camera provides a high-resolution image at 540 TV Lines. The DNR function also reduces unwanted details while maintain resolution without compression, therefore saves up to 70 percent disk space when recording, in comparison with conventional security cameras. This means longer recording hours on the same amount of disk storage. Auto Gain Control with High/Low level or off is selectable. White Balance is also selectable with 4 choices, W-ATW, S-ATW, AWC and Manual. In addition of the regular built-in On Screen Display (OSD) function, the DDN-540C provides a remote OSD control output, which can be connected to an optional remote control box, so that the setup of the camera can be easily adjusted.
