LAS VEGAS, ASIS Booth #2549, Sept. 24, 2007 – UTC Fire & Security announced today the debut of Red Hawk as its premier security services brand in the U.S. The new company unifies existing Red Hawk, Chubb and ACP Engineering branches, as well as the newly acquired Initial Electronics units in the Midwest, Northeast and Mid Atlantic. UTC Fire & Security is a business unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX). UTC Fire & Security acquired Red Hawk, an integrated physical and electronic security solutions provider, in October 2006, tripling the size of its footprint in the U.S. The recent addition of Initial Electronics’ six branch locations, which were acquired in July 2007, adds sophisticated large systems integration capabilities and further strengthens the company’s growing electronic security service network.

Red Hawk headquarters will remain in Denver, Colorado. The newly integrated company has approximately 1,100 employees and a total of 30 sales and service offices across the U.S., including large metropolitan locations such as New York, Los Angeles, Dallas, Chicago, Boston and Denver.
