AlliedBarton Security Services today named Jim Gillece as the company's chief people officer and senior vice president of human capital management.
Gillece will be managing the company's HR program, recruitment, benefits, learning and development and organizational effectiveness. Gillece comes to the newly created CPO position after leading AlliedBarton's training programs, which earned a top-ranked designation by Training magazine for the last two years.
Gillece comes from Pfizer, where he directed the company's leadership education and development program, and is a past member of eCornell's Corporate Advisory Board for Strategic Human Capital Management.
The security provider has more than 47,000 employees.
