German firm Digital Identification Solutions (DIS) announced this week that it is expanding into Mexico.
The company, which supplies identification technology solutions, has formed a subsidiary in Mexico, to be led by Ismael Almada. DIS is known for its EDISecure line of solutions for a variety of card access control and identification needs. The company offers product solutions ranging from image capture to passports, card printing and ID card management. The company has an international install base of roughly 5,000 systems.
DIS has already created subsidiaries in the United States, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), China and Singapore.
