FAIRFAX, Va. -- ICF International announced today that it was awarded a new task order, Office of Grants & Training (G&T) Program Management Support, valued at US$3.7 million, under ICF's five-year, multiple award, blanket purchase agreement, to supply professional and program management support services to all components of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
"We are pleased at the opportunity to work with DHS on this task order as it is a natural extension of our work enhancing the emergency management capacity of DHS and state and local agencies through coordinated training, equipment acquisition, technical assistance, and exercises," said Anita Tallarico, an ICF senior vice president and recognized leader in emergency management and homeland security. The ICF team's role will include program management for grants management process improvements, office integration, governance, strategic planning, program management infrastructure, and transition management. G&T will work directly with emergency responders to conduct assessments of state and local needs. Assistance is directed at a broad spectrum of state and local emergency responders, including firefighters, emergency medical services, emergency management agencies, law enforcement, and public officials.
