ISC West, Booth # 15087 — Lenel Systems International, a world leader in the design, development and delivery of integrated security systems, today announced its cosponsorship of and participation in the IP Institute, a full-day ISC Education program to be presented on April 4, 2006 in Las Vegas.
The IP Institute is the first accredited course in which industry experts will share the latest information about trends, best practices and technologies relevant to the design and deployment of IP-centered and integrated physical security solutions. The event is part of the ISC West 2006 conference, which is sponsored by the Security Industry Association (SIA). Through its participation in the IP Institute, Lenel supports the SIA's continual quest to educate and expand the skill sets of the wide variety of professionals in the security community.
Lenel’s contribution will be a seminar conducted by Robert Williams and titled “Leveraging Standards-based Integration to Optimize the Customer’s Return on Investment.†Williams, an IT and security industry professional, is a Product Training Specialist in Lenel’s educational division, Lenel Learning Solutions, and is focused on presenting value added reseller (VAR) training programs throughout the U.S. In his seminar, he will discuss the benefits of standards-based integration, individual versus integrated security applications, security integration tools and toolkits, the adaptation of applications to standards, and the integration of logical access control into the security environment.
Other participating companies include Cisco, Microsoft, Axis Communications, HID Corporation and Gompers Inc. Microsoft will deliver a presentation in support of Lenel’s content.
