New wireless contact provides discreet intrusion detection for multiple applications

Digital Monitoring Products (DMP) continues to expand its 1100 Series of two-way supervised wireless devices with the newly released 1131 Wireless Contact.

The 1131 can be used to provide discreet, concealed protection for doors, windows, or other applications. It is compatible with all DMP 1100 Series receivers.

"Wireless transmitters offer so many advantages to both the end user and the installer," said Vice President of Sales Jeff McAleer. "They can be placed in the right location to provide maximum protection in either residential or commercial applications. And no wires means faster, cleaner installations. The new 1131 Wireless Recessed Contact is an important addition to our growing offering of wireless devices."

Like all transmitters in the DMP 1100 Series, the 1131 Wireless Contact employs 900MHz frequency-hopping spread spectrum to ensure clear and accurate signal transmissions without interference in practically any environment. The 1131 comes ready to install, including a battery and hardware kit. DMP wireless equipment uses energy-conserving two-way communication, giving the 1131 an expected battery life of five years.

Installation is made simpler by the on-board LED that provides built-in survey capability for single-person installations and eliminates the need for an external survey kit.
