MESH Enterprise from Viscount to aid in controlling access and security at freight company's shipping facilities

Burnaby, British Columbia – Thursday, September 20, 2007 - Viscount Systems Inc. has announced the company’s MESH Enterprise system has been selected by one of the largest freight forwarding and consolidation companies in the US to secure a number of shipping facilities.

Following the initial deployments, the customer plans to continue deploying systems throughout the US and possibly internationally. Each site will include servers and readers with a centrally managed head office host.

Sales of MESH continue to migrate from our traditional multi-residential market to the much larger commercial and government market,” noted Stephen Pineau, President and CEO of Viscount. “This customer chose MESH to eliminate the problems associated with Enterprise deployments of control panels. These problems included both hardware and software management. MESH is also more compatible with their new video security systems.”
