Company's first day-night IP camera is designed to capture more detail in shaded areas, to produce clearer images

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Dallmeier electronic has released the DF3000IP-DN camera, its first day-night color IP camera, which maximizes low-light capabilities and produces excellent image qualities in even the most challenging conditions.

The DF3000IP-DN incorporates Dallmeier’s Cam_inPIX technology. The Ultra Wide Dynamic Range behind Cam_inPIX allows every pixel to function as a camera, producing clearer pictures and capturing more details in shaded and bright areas of video than conventional cameras. Cam_inPIX captures and optimally processes picture information for each individual pixel at the point of capture to provide clear, high-contrast pictures without blooming or smearing.

The pure digital2digital design of the DF3000IP-DN ensures that the video output from the camera sensor is sent directly to the video compressor chip without any degradation of the video signal. Based on the latest WIS chip technology, Cypher 7108 with 64MB DRAM memory, this digital2digital process converts video signals into MPEG-1/-2/-4, MJPEG and H263 formats. The integrated audio transmission is based on AAC and MP3 standards.¬

“The DF3000IP-DN supplies unsurpassed video quality for detection and documentation of all incidents under any conceivable weather and light conditions,” said Andy Birchner, vice president of sales for Dallmeier USA. “In fact, the camera’s open-system concept is already equipped with an intelligent video interface for future models.”

The DF3000IP-DN’s integrated flash hard drive provides alternative storage capacities ranging from 128MB to 1GB and several hours of video, depending on the chosen compression. This integrated micro-DVR contributes decisively to using the entire system as an “all-in-one” solution for security applications. Controlling and configuring the DF3000IP-DN is carried out via a built-in web server or a dedicated management system. The built-in application program interface allows the DF3000IP-DN to also be used in a variety of third-party IP-video management systems.

The DF3000IP-DN is the third in Dallmeier’s Cam_inPIX line, following the DF2000A and DDF3000A / AV cameras released earlier this year. It is ideal for use with Dallmeier’s complete product line, which covers the full range of video security, including software, network solutions, and engineered systems for recorded video, event detectors and cameras.

Further advantages of the first camera in Dallmeier’s new IP camera generation are its integrated privacy masking, small size (1-3/4” x 1/-3/4” x 3-3/4”), digital PTZ functionality, its extremely low power consumption and Power over Ethernet.

The DF3000IP-Day Night Color IP Camera is entered in the New Product Showcase at this years’ ISC West show in Las Vegas.
