DICE adds features to Aegis Central Station Software to access Dedicated Micros' NetVu products

Chantilly, VA -- Dedicated Micros Inc. of Chantilly, Virginia announces a partnership with DICE Corporation of Bay City, Michigan.

DICE recently added features that provide their Aegis Central Station Software customers with video verification capability using Dedicated Micros’ family of NetVu products. The integration came as a response to customer requirements for adding compatibility to Dedicated Micros’ NetVu DVRs.

“We are always looking for new partnerships and integration possibilities, striving to provide our clients with options that work best for them and their customers,” said Cliff Dice, CEO, Dice Corporation. “We are pleased about our integration with Dedicated Micros, Inc. and the benefits our customers will receive from the combination of DICE Aegis Central Station Software and their video surveillance products.”

The software controls the central station receivers and routes each alarm – burglar, fire or access control – to an available customer service representative, along with the protocol for the representative to follow. The representative thus has the ability to use video verification to assess whether or not an alarm is valid.

The software also stores the appropriate police department phone numbers to ensure that all the alarms are handled quickly and efficiently.

“DICE is a very popular central station monitoring package some of our important customers are already using,” said Bob McCarthy, vice president of technology at Dedicated Micros. “We wanted to ensure that they could take advantage of their video verification system with our products so that our customers can minimize the frequency of false alarms.”
