$2M in Security Funding Headed to Southern Australia's Parafield Airport

Funding marked for fencing, CCTV, access control improvements

Security at Parafield Airport is to undergo a $2 million upgrade.

Federal Transport Minister Warren Truss yesterday announced the airport would receive $2,065,540 through the $35 million Regional Airport Funding Program.

It would be spent on measures such as closed-circuit television, fencing and access control, he said.
