Video surveillance firm names new CTO and director

SHEN ZHEN, China - China Security and Surveillance Technology Inc. announced today that it has appointed Mr. Zhao Yong as Chief Technology Officer and Mr. Jiang Jian Guo as director.

On January 13, 2006, the former CTO, Mr. Yang Yue Hua resigned and Mr. Zhao Yong was appointed as the new CTO of China Security. On January 23, 2006, Mr. Chen Xing Hua resigned as a director and Mr. Jiang Jian Guo replaced his position.

Mr. Zhao has extensive experience in the homeland security and surveillance industry. Mr. Zhao is currently the director of Mobile Video Networking Lab and an associate professor at the Graduate School of Peking University, People's Republic of China. The research projects on video communication network under his supervision represent the most up-to-date technology in China. Prior to that, Mr. Zhao worked as a senior software engineer with one of the top 30 companies listed on the Dow Jones Index. As a Post-Doctoral fellow from Concordia University Canada, he focused on the research and development of advanced technology in the video compression and networking field. His achievements were well recognized by Nortel networks experts. He published more than 30 journals and conference papers on various authoritative publications.

Mr. Jiang, a new director of China Security, was the former president of Yuan Da Wei Shi Technology Ltd. ("Yuan Da"), an entity acquired by China Security in December 2005. Mr. Jiang established Yuan Da in year 2003, a company engaged in design, research and development of surveillance and security products. The firm concentrates in the fields of video compression cards and embedded digital surveillance hosting. With its outstanding research capacity and experienced management team, Yuan Da is recognized for providing the most leading-edge technology.
