Reseller agreement allows Galaxy to sell EasyLobby visitor management products with its access offerings

Walkersville MD and Needham MA, July 17, 2006 - Galaxy Control Systems, a leading provider of access control systems, and EasyLobby, the industry leader in secure visitor management solutions, today announced the availability of an add-on software module that tightly integrates System Galaxy and EasyLobby's SVM (Secure Visitor Management) software. As part of the announcement, Galaxy has also become an authorized dealer for the full line of EasyLobby visitor management products, and will be offering the integrated solution to all of its dealers and customers.

With the new integration module, customers using SVM and System Galaxy will be able to issue different levels of card access to visitors, contractors and employees directly from the EasyLobby SVM visitor form. At the time visitors or contractors are checked in or badged using SVM, information about them, the employee being visited, access level to be granted, card number, and expiration date/time is automatically passed from the SVM database to the System Galaxy database, and the card is activated. In addition, when the person is checked out of EasyLobby, System Galaxy is immediately notified and the card is deactivated. Cards do not need to be pre-programmed, and they can be re-used.

"More and more of our customers are requesting this type of integration between our award-winning visitor management system and their access control system," said Howard Marson, CEO of EasyLobby. "The tight integration with System Galaxy allows our joint customers to quickly and easily grant card access to those visitors that require it, without having to expose the access control system to their guards or receptionists."

“Galaxy has experienced a tremendous increase in requests for visitor registration,” states Rick Fournier, CEO of Galaxy Control Systems. “Access control alone cannot satisfy the needs of today’s sophisticated end-user. With the integration of the SVM product, our system now satisfies those requirements to enhance the safety of visitors and employees in one streamlined, non-threatening solution.”
