ELMO hi-speed color domes feature fast 400 degrees/sec pan, compatibility with many protocols. Variable scan speed models have high acceleration rate and smooth steady motion providing 360 degrees continuous pan rotation at a travel speed from 5 to 400 degrees/second, operating from presets with 180 degrees auto turnaround. Tilt travel from -10 degrees to 190 degrees; 256 programmable pre-sets pinpoint target areas. Pan and tilt speed automatically adjust in proportion to the depth of zoom.

ESD-380DR offers a complete solution to outdoor installations. It features an IP66-rated weather-resistant outdoor housing, wide dynamic range, day/night model that captures image details in difficult lighting conditions from glaring sunshine to darkness. Digital Slow shutter and removable IR cut filters enhance capture capability to achieve brighter images, even at lowest light levels. Minimum illumination is 0.01 lux; 0 lux (IR illuminator). Rugged compact one-quarter inch CCD color cameras with DSP circuitry deliver high-resolution (470TVL) images with excellent color accuracy. S/N is 49db (AGC off), effective pixels 380k, NTSC.

Camera features 23x optical zoom (3.6 to 82.8mm). With 12x programmable digital zoom, delivers 276x zoom. 24-position privacy zone-masking protects against intrusive monitoring. Other features include digital flip, auto/manual focus; auto iris, auto/manual white balance, auto/manual focus, backlight compensation, OSD display for easy setup. It has eight programmable alarm inputs, and offers 24VAC operation.
