CCTV Imports to Hold Benefit for New Orleans Children's Hospital

Feb. 3, 2006
Company will help raise funds for hospital that lost 4 of 5 primary clinics

CCTV Imports will be hosting “Helping Hands for Kids” on March 25th, a fundraiser to benefit New Orleans Children’s Hospital. The hospital was just one of the numerous businesses severely impacted by Hurricane Katrina with losses and damages totaling around $40 million. Although it was able to successfully evacuate all 100 patients, it lost four of its five primary clinics.

Children’s Hospital is the only full-service hospital for children in Louisiana with both in-patient and out-patient services. It operates solely on private donations without any state funding. Despite its financial struggles, it has reopened making it one of two operational hospitals in New Orleans. We are supporting our Louisiana neighbor by hosting a fundraiser to aid in its recovery. The event will be held with the grand opening of our new facility in Covington, LA and will involve a silent auction, food, cocktails, and live entertainment. All proceeds will go directly to the hospital.

CCTV Imports owner Kevin Lazaroe quotes, “For 50 years, Children’s Hospital has practiced the philosophy of never turning away a child who needs the help that it can provide. It is now our turn to carry out this belief by providing financial help with this fundraiser.” If you are interesting in donating or attending, please visit our website at www.helping-kids.org.
