Henry Bros. Provides Wireless CCTV System for Arizona Municipal Parking Garage

Integrator added wireless 24-camera surveillance system for Peoria, Ariz.

SADDLE BROOK, N.J. - Henry Bros. Electronics, Inc., a turnkey provider of technology-based integrated electronic security solutions, today announced that its Henry Bros. Electronics Arizona office (HBE-AZ), recently completed a project with the City of Peoria to provide and install a security camera system in the east and west parking structures at the city's municipal office complex.

The CCTV system for two parking garages consisted of 24 cameras, which featured a wireless network connection to a digital video recorder to enable the video to be viewed remotely by the municipality's public safety department. Equipment for the project was manufactured by GE Security, a strategic partner of Henry Bros. Electronics.

The City of Peoria awarded the contract to Henry Bros. following a comprehensive review of seven proposals in response to its Request for Proposal.

Walt Begley, Facilities Manager of the City of Peoria, said "The Henry Bros. engineering team was particularly vigilant in designing and installing a custom solution tailored to our specific needs. They were able to create a network to transmit a wireless signal over multi-channel technology while maintaining appropriate signal strength and not interfering with the City of Peoria's existing wireless radio and network infrastructure. We are pleased with HBE's expertise and diligence installing this system, which has provided us with an effective security systems at a significant cost savings to traditional methods of transmitting video."
