The FT8301A Miniature Fiber Transmitter provides the ability to transmit one composite video channel over one optical fiber. Â Designed specifically for use in limited space applications such as camera enclosures and fixed mount domes, the FT8301A can also be used as a standalone device. A new single channel transmitter and receiver (FT8301A/FR8301A) provide the ability to transmit and receive one composite video channel over one fiber optic cable as well as offer exceptional optical power budget of 28 dB and a transmission distance of up to 46 km. The new FR8302A receiver is able to accept two composite video channels over two fiber optic cables and is compatible with the all FT8301/FT8301A transmitters, meaning each of two transmitters can send a single independent video channel to one receiver.
