GTSI Selects Vice President, Solutions

Industry veteran, 'Jay' Jayachandran leads solutions team

CHANTILLY, Va. -- GTSI Corp., a leading information technology solutions provider to the government, today announced that P. "Jay" Jayachandran has joined GTSI as Vice President, Solutions. He will manage a team of professionals that has been tasked with overseeing the complete solutions process from market research, competitive analysis and identification to launch and measurement. Mr. Jayachandran reports to Scot T. Edwards, Chief Marketing Officer and Group Vice President.

Mr. Jayachandran has over 26 years of experience in business development and Information Management. Prior to joining GTSI, he was Vice President of Marketing for the Potomac Management Group (PMG) where he led both the company's marketing and business development efforts.

Before joining PMG, he served as the Vice President for Business Development and Marketing at SAIC. During his tenure, he was instrumental in leading business development activities for SAIC's Federal Civilian Group's $300 million dollar business unit. Previous to SAIC, Mr. Jayachandran served as a Principal with Booz Allen Hamilton, where he oversaw the Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Business Intelligence, and Enterprise Applications Integration service offerings. His career also includes management positions at Burroughs, Unisys, and Lockheed Martin.

Mr. Jayachandran holds Jay holds a BS in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering and an MBA in Marketing Management. In addition, he is a Certified Systems Professional.
