The NV-16PS10-PVD provides camera power while delivering video and P/T/Z telemetry over a single 4-pair Cat5 cable. Up to 16 cameras are supported in a 1U rack- wall- or desk-mount unit.
The NV-16PS10-PVD is a key hybrid component that consolidates all CCTV system cabling using standard EIA/TIA 568B structured building wiring. Designed for installation in the IDF/Telecom Closet or MDF/Equipment Room, the NV-16PS10-PVD has independently selectable 24VAC-OFF-28VAC outputs that can support at-distance camera loads of up to 1 Amp per channel (10 Amp aggregate). Per-channel diagnostic LEDs display load/no-load, mis-wires, or fault conditions at a glance. Automatic-reset fault protection, transient protection, and ground-loop-free individually floating outputs provide the most trouble-free solution in the business.
The NV-16PS10-PVD is the newest member of NVT's PVDâ„¢ family that includes single camera-end devices such as the NV-216A-PV and the NV-218A-PVD, and control-room 16-port receivers such as the NV-1613J or NV-1662J. The PVD family allows installers and end-users to benefit from the performance, cost savings, simplicity, and future-proofing of structured building wiring.
