J-Systems launches IP pan-tilt controller

Chicago February 14, 2008 -- J-Systems is pleased to announce the release of its new BASIC IP pan-tilt controller. Designed as an outdoor grade pan-tilt control system for use with fixed IP cameras, IR lighting, or small directional antennas the system works across a LAN, WAN, 3G Cellular, 802.11x or the Internet.

The system provides essential pan-tilt control of our rugged JPTH-13 precision built pan-tilt head. The integrated web interface allows Pan-RIGHT, Pan-LEFT, Tilt-UP and Tilt-DOWN movements and a simple HTML API which makes creating custom web pages with graphics and diagonal control an easy task. The BASIC IP pan-tilt control system is rated IP-65 and designed for rugged outdoor applications in -30C to +70C temperatures without heating or cooling.

This is the perfect outdoor solution for pan-tilt camera positioning. While featuring a universal voltage input range of 110/220VAC, this system's native operating voltage of 12VDC makes it the perfect, low cost solution for solar powered or mobile pan-tilt applications.

The BASIC IP is small in size, features externally adjustable pan and tilt limit switches and is supplied with a special water proof, highly flexible cable. Being a completely IP based system with a built in web interface, it is easy to install and simple to use.
