Pure IP access control system offers door control, PoE in former Integral Technologies systems

Clovis, CA (January 31, 2008) – Pelco is proud to offer the IP-based Intelli-M Access Control System, bringing together the power of security integration with Pelco's legendary services and 100% Customer Satisfaction Guarantee. With the recent Schneider Electric merger, Pelco has assumed and is very excited regarding the responsibility for the management of the Integral product line, which includes its very popular access control product Intelli-M.

"This is our first step into an industry newly explored by Pelco. Our customers and end-users have wanted us to provide this solution for many years since integration has become a major requirement," says Robert C. McKee, Director of Business Development at Pelco. "And now with Pelco Intelli-M we can."

Each Intelli-M PoE (Power over Ethernet) enabled Door Controller system provides access control and alarm services for a single door, saving hundreds of dollars in wiring to each door by communicating and being powered with one CAT 5E or 6 cable. Use the Intelli-M embedded web server to program the eIDC controller, which eliminates the need to load software on a PC. If several eIDC controllers and centralized control are needed, use the powerful Supervisor Plus Command and Control software, which also supports full integration with network video recorders and IP cameras.

"With our unique approach to customers, good products, coupled with over 200 combined years of access control expertise in engineering, sales and marketing, no other company can make an impact to the access control industry like Pelco," McKee says.
