Newest version features enhanced camera support, MIFARE enrollment

IDenticard, a producer of biometric security identification and access control systems, has announced the release of IVIS Plus v3.1 -- the company's most powerful and versatile digital imaging technology to date for organizations of all sizes.

"This enhanced product comes in direct response to the evolving needs and wants of our customers and the market place," said Aaron Henderson, IDenticard software product manager. "With the superior features of IVIS Plus v3.1, our customers are assured of access to the most advanced digital imaging technology available. Custom-designing a security ID management system has never been so easy.

The key features added to IVIS Plus v3.1 include:

Picture file naming scheme: Allows the user to define how and where to save picture and image files, as well as to specify the image file type and image file extension.

USB desktop MIFARE serial number enrollment: Ideally suited for use with contactless access control programs, this feature populates a defined field on the ID badge with the MIFARE serial number. Plus, it will notify the operator when a record already exists.

Signature cropping: Imported signatures are now as easy to crop as imported images.

Predefined cardholder reports: Included with a default installation, predefined reports allow the operator to extract information from the database and retrieve statistical information on photos captured and badges printed.

Enhanced camera support: IVIS Plus now interfaces with a greater selection of digital cameras and TWAIN devices using Video for Windows.
