Bethesda, MD, July 1, 2005 - Brivo Systems (www.brivo.com), a provider of web-hosted access control and security systems, is pleased to announce the release of the ACS5000 Series Control Panels and enhancements to the ACS Online application. While sleeker and more compact, the streamlined ACS5000 control panels include such features as expansion of up to 30 readers per panel, up to 120 Inputs and up to 122 Outputs.

Previous generations of the Brivo ACS control panels were expandable up to 4 readers with each door control board having 3 Inputs/Relay Outputs and a capacity of 10,000 users per panel. The ACS5000 control panels not only boast an expansion of up to 30 readers and an increased number of Inputs and Outputs, but they also have a capacity of 25,000 users per panel, and the ability to connect remote reader interface boards. As with earlier versions, customers have the option of choosing either Ethernet broadband or secure wireless networking.

Along with the release of the new hardware, Brivo has made several enhancements to the ACS Online application. The newly enhanced website include features such as fully programmable Inputs and Outputs, Elevator Control, Input Line Supervision, In/Out Reports, and the ability to create a descriptive name for control panels.

"The introduction of the ACS5000 panels and the updated interface opens up a whole new level of opportunities for our customers," stated Christie Walters, Director of Business Development for Brivo Systems. "With the additional reader and input/output capabilities, we are now able to secure even larger facilities with unique integration requirements. Our property management customers are now able to handle things like elevator control for multiple sites from the same unique web-hosted environment they have always enjoyed."
