SISCO visitor management system to be offered as part of GVI access control and security solution

CARROLLTON, Texas -- GVI Security Solutions, Inc., a provider of integrated Homeland Security Enterprise solutions for government agencies and the private sector, announced that it has entered into a distribution agreement with Security Identification Systems Corporation (SISCO), to offer SISCO's visitor management system as part of GVI's total access control and security solution.

SISCO's visitor management system is designed to authenticate, verify and appropriately authorize passage in and out of designated areas by matching an individual's characteristics to a variety of databases, including sexual predator and terrorist watch lists. The system employs advanced techniques such as biometrics, photo capture, image capture, document authentication and wireless technologies to meet defined security parameters. The system serves to identify and monitor the ingress and egress of people from a facility or site and offers instantaneous documentation and database storage of this information. The SISCO system works in real-time, provides a photo pass in seconds, and can be easily integrated with most access control systems. The visitor management system is a complementary system to GVI's patented Fast Trac(TM) Rapid Access Portal (Rapor) platform. When integrated with GVI's total access control solution, it is anticipated that GVI's clients will be able to improve security levels, reduce delays experienced by authorized visitors, and use security guards more efficiently.

"We are excited to add SISCO's visitor management systems as an important component of GVI's integrated, best-of-breed access control solution for enterprise and government clients. We believe this system will offer a robust front-end of a total secure access solution for high traffic, security-sensitive environments. SISCO's feature rich, high speed identification products complement our total security solutions perfectly," said Howard Safir, Chairman of GVI Security Solutions.

"We are very pleased to be working with GVI Security Solutions and believe this relationship provides a great endorsement of our visitor management system. GVI distinguishes itself from its competitors in the security market through its deep understanding of security priorities of both the government and corporate sector. Working with them, we can offer total security solutions which we believe will greatly enhance public security in the heightened threat environment we now exist in," said Anthony Zagami, Chief Executive Officer of SISCO.
