Bethesda, Md.-based Brivo Systems has appointed Steven Van Till as the company's new president and chief operating officer. Brivo's announcement of Van Till's promotion added that Van Till will retain his responsible as the company's chief technology officer.
Brivo Chairman Robert Fealy credited Van Twill's prior employment with Comsat, Geostar, HCIA and Sapient and his experience developing the company's web-based access control system with giving Van Twill the ability to understand Brivo customers' needs. Van Till joined the company in 1999.
Also in Brivo news, Robert Mosler has been promoted to the position of executive vice president of sales and marketing. Mosler will be responsible for the company's regional sales managers in North America, and will coordinate field technical support, business development and the company's marketing.
Mosler brings 30-plus years of experience from ADT, Diebold and Northern Computers to Brivo.
