Preferred Power Products (P3) of Northbrook, IL has introduced PowerMax3, the first modular rack mount power supply in the industry. The PowerMax3 is a new power supply and distribution system designed to fit any application.
Its innovative design provides the ability to utilize custom configurations of 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28 or 32 individually fused or PTC outputs for powering CCTV camera and accessories. 12VDC and 24VAC modules can be combined in the same 2 RU rack space. The PowerMax3 can be ordered fully loaded to accommodate 32 cameras or as a base platform with individual modules for smaller camera configurations.
All modules are "hot swappable" for quick and easy adds and changes, and the front panel fuse access provides easy fuse replacement with no full power-down required. Each module has an individual power switch and can be maintained without affecting the other modules.
