Tradeshow Week, a business to business magazine for the tradeshow industry has marked ASIS International Annual Seminar and Exhibits as one of its 50 fastest growing trade shows of the U.S. and Canada.
The ranking was announced at the end of August, and follows a surge of interest in the ASIS show following 9/11.
"The growth of our show has been fostered by exhibitors who know that ASIS attracts the decision makers -- mid to senior level/executive management end-users involved in or making the final buying decisions, and industry leaders who know they'll connect with prospects at ASIS that they won't find anywhere else," said Michael J. Stack, ASIS executive director in a statement to the media following the "fastest" recognition. "The 'Fastest 50' recognition underlines the need for security information, products and technology, which the ASIS tradeshow provides, alongside a comprehensive, peer-reviewed education program and topnotch networking events."
The show will be held at the Orange Country Convention Center in Orlando, Fla., next week, from Sept. 12-15. Approximately 19,000 security professionals are estimated to be in attendance at this largely end-user focused show.
