Sequiam Biometrics Delivers Multilanguage BioTime Secure Access Control Software to Distribution Network

Sept. 7, 2005
Company says it estimates initial annual revenue of approximately $1 million

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Sequiam Corporation, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Sequiam Biometrics, Inc. (www.sequiambiometrics.com), a premier provider of biometric technology and services, announced today the delivery of its updated Sequiam BioTime(TM) access control, time and attendance software (www.constellationbiometrics.com/biotime.asp) to distribution channels in the United States, Canada and Mexico. The Company said that it estimates initial annual revenue of approximately $1 million, and that sales are expected to ramp rapidly through the remainder of the year.

Currently, BioTime has hundreds of successful installations in businesses all around the world to enhance security and combat payroll fraud. The current version of BioTime can be used in facilities with up to 1,700 employees saving companies up to 35 percent in accounting costs per year because it eliminates the need for tedious calculation and verification of payroll records and prevents "buddy punching" (which the US Census says causes the average business an 11% annual loss of income). BioTime also makes business more secure, insuring that employees (and others) are where they are authorized to conduct business.

Sequiam Biometrics distribution partner Nat Sprague of BioMetAccess said, "We are pleased to carry the new Sequiam BioTime software and have discovered numerous sales and marketing avenues in both the United States and Latin America for biometric access control and time and attendance. This is the product we have been waiting for as it supports most of our popular lines of biometric access hardware. BioTime is updated with new versions as they become available, thus protecting our clientele from obsolescence. After extensive testing of competing products, we have determined that the Sequiam solution is extremely user-friendly, and among the best on the market." Sprague continued, "The new pre-licensing system allows us to distribute the software directly and easily keeps track of copies that have been installed at the end-user level. This gives us a great level of confidence in end user penetration through our dealer network."

Kevin Henderson, President of Sequiam Biometrics, said, "We are very fortunate to have such a dedicated distribution network for our biometric security applications. We are committed to the continued deployment of improved software to fill the particular need for secure and easy to use biometrically enabled applications. All of our partners are enthusiastic about the products we have in the pipeline for this rapidly growing market."

The software is designed to support numerous biometric technologies including Sagem, Hectrix, Axim, Suprema, Digital Persona and others for full compatibility in a wide variety of biometric applications. In addition, a new distributor/dealer friendly licensing system was simultaneously released making distribution of the application trouble free for Sequiam partners and distributors.
