Dubai-based integrated technology solutions provider Netlink announced it has identified RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) solutions as a key focus area.
Announcing the company's decision to develop and distribute RFID solutions in the region, a senior official of the company said Netlink has joined hands with US-based RFID Inc to bring cutting edge, next generation RFID products in the Middle East market.
Akash Arora, chief technical architect, Netlink, said: "The Middle East market for RFID solutions is in an emerging mode now, but considering the tradition of this market in adopting new technologies at a quick pace, we are confident that our strategy to focus on this segment as a growth area will be highly successful."
RFID Inc is focused on the manufacture of RFID systems in off-the-shelf forms to end users, resellers, integrators and value added resellers.
The company is also the development of new RFID systems for OEMs interested in customised systems for incorporation into their own product offerings.
Arora said the industries in the region which will mostly benefit from RFID technology will include retail, logistics, warehousing and education.
