John Lopinto, president and CEO of Communications Specialties, Inc. (CSI) announced today that Paul Seiden has been promoted to the position of director of sales, effective immediately. In this capacity, he will direct and supervise all CSI sales operations with the exception of those in the Asia Pacific countries, which are handled by Singapore-based Communications Specialties Pte Ltd. Paul will remain based out of CSI's Florida Sales Office, where he most recently served as CSI's regional sales manager for the Eastern United States.
Many in the professional A/V industry may recall that Paul previously held the position of CSI's director of sales in the late 1990s, prior to leaving the Company to pursue new opportunities. Initially upon his departure from CSI, he served as vice president and COO of Video Data Systems and subsequently as Vice President of Keywest Technology, which merged with Video Data Systems in 2001. In 2002, Paul relocated to Florida where he founded PJS Communications, a manufacturer's rep firm serving the Pro AV market. Communications Specialties quickly contracted PJS Communications to be a manufacturer's rep within the state of Florida for the Pure Digital Fiberlink, Fiberlink, Scan Do and Deuce lines. Then, earlier this year, Paul officially rejoined Communications Specialties, working from Florida and handling all sales within the eastern half of the country.
