"Eric is the perfect addition to our fast-growing company," states Lars Thinggaard, CEO at Milestone. "The security industry is in a very exciting transition to using network technology, so our IP video surveillance software is in increasingly hot demand, especially in the Americas. Eric knows how to support our strategy to move aggressively forward, and the U.S. is a top target market for us."

Milestone Systems is a leading developer of true IP video surveillance software that is sold through a channel of 150+ partners in over 50 countries. The XProtect line of products are robust and proven, operating 75,000 cameras worldwide, and supporting the widest choice in video surveillance hardware. It's reliability, flexibility, and scalability bring efficiency and cost-effectiveness that more and more customers want in their security solutions.

This market demand is one reason that Milestone Systems has been listed among the Deloitte European Technology Fast 500 companies for the last five years, with a growth rate of more than 400%.

"I am very enthusiastic about coming on board with Milestone Systems," says Eric Fullerton. "The XProtect product line is the most advanced on the market and plays a central role in IP solutions: the open architecture and APIs allow integration with other security devices and systems like POS, ATM or ERP. This creates more than just video surveillance - it makes for a sound investment with fast ROI and profitability of ownership. Customers are starting to wake up to these opportunities."

Eric Fullerton was previously CEO of the IT security companies netVigilance and VIGILANTe.com.
