Cameras will have NightSense mode that automatically activates under low-light conditions to switch cameras from color to monochrome

Fairport, New York -- Bosch Security Systems, a top manufacturer of high-quality security systems and components, now offers NightSense on its FlexiDomeXT line of vandal-resistant, fixed-dome cameras, extending the camera's sensitivity threefold in monochrome operation. Bosch's FlexiDomeXT with NightSense is ideally suited for use in schools, banks, hotels, prisons, parking garages, retail, and other commercial applications.

The NightSense mode, automatically activated under low light conditions, helps to provide round-the-clock surveillance by delivering optimum image quality even at very low light levels. When light begins to fade, the cameras automatically switch from color to monochrome to maintain high picture quality and clarity.

FlexiDomeXT cameras are set in cast aluminum housings for exceptional durability. With polycarbonate domes and hardened inner liners, the cameras can withstand the equivalent of 120 pounds of force. They are sealed for outdoor use with protection against water and dust to IP66 (NEMA-4) standards.

The FlexiDomeXT cameras are available in high-resolution monochrome and color models with auto-iris varifocal lens options, line-lock with phase adjustment, and backlight compensation. They come completely assembled and ready to use for quick, easy installation, and feature Bosch's exclusive pan/tilt/rotation mechanism for simple camera adjustments. The small, sleek design and flush-mount appearance enables the cameras to discretely blend into almost any decor. An optional conduit-compatible hard surface mount is available.
