Tri-Ed to Celebrate Anniversary of Company

Company plans customer and vendor appreciation festivities for Feb. 2006

February 1, 2006 marks the one year anniversary of Tri-Ed’s rebirth when the independent distribution company was acquired by a group headed by Steve Roth. There’s cause for celebration; in just one short year, the company has been transformed into a vital entity, creating a culture of strong customer support and vendor loyalty.

To show its appreciation, Tri-Ed will be hosting its customers and its vendors at each and every one of its U.S. and Canadian locations on February 1st . Keep the date - the festivities will include refreshments, prize drawings and special pricing and promotions.

Tri-Ed has realized some significant milestones over this past year. Several new branch locations have opened their doors, in key locations, including Boston, Clearwater, Kansas City, Minneapolis, Buffalo, and San Antonio. (Tri-Ed’s other new branch, in New Orleans, was the only distribution company that kept its doors open and business operational for area dealers in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.)

Now firing on all cylinders, Tri-Ed also brought on board many heavy hitting industry veterans and a slew of new vendors. Product offerings have grown exponentially, as have product training opportunities. Tech Tours have made stops in many parts of the country, and Tri-Ed has also rolled out a comprehensive turnkey solution to residential systems design. This total home solutions package offers dealers all the products and training they need for home theater and whole house installations. Another testament to Tri-Ed’s commitment to providing customers with a real value proposition is its seven figure investment in a new IT system to increase efficiency all around.

“February 1st marks a very special anniversary for Tri-Ed, its customers and its partnering vendors,” says President and CEO Steve Roth. “We look forward to celebrating our accomplishments and mutual success with them at every one of our locations."
