Cameras feature durable, vandal-resistant design, simple installation, indoor and outdoor designs

Vicon Industries Inc. has added an IP camera version to the versatile line of Roughneck Vandal-Resistant cameras. These rugged cameras are now widely used in schools, parking garages and other public venues.

The Roughneck V910 and V926 IP Fixed Camera Domes are a powerful IP video source for a complete digital video management system based on ViconNet software platform. They are fully compatible with all ViconNet systems and are remotely managed and controlled from ViconNet workstations and Kollector Elite recorders. Equipped with a 100 Mbps LAN interface board, the cameras allow direct plug-in to a network switch. Images received from the IP cameras can be displayed, recorded or archived like any other ViconNet video component using the ViconNet management platform.

Camera/lens options include high-resolution color or day/night with a choice of varifocal or fixed lenses. The integral color camera/lens combinations in the current domes provide ExVIew technology and an isolated power input.

Vicon offers a camera dome to meet almost every installation need. The unit offers a full 180-degrees camera mounting adjustment. The tough injection-molded polycarbonate dome protects the camera from shock and acts of vandalism. Indoor and outdoor models are available; mounting options include in-ceiling, wall and a pendant mount. Installation is quick and easy.
