System designed to detect fraud and policy violations chosen for company-owned auto parts stores

Triversity Inc., an international provider of customer-centric retail solutions, today announced that NAPA Auto Parts has selected FraudWatch as its loss prevention solution. NAPA Auto Parts is a leading distributor for auto parts under the NAPA brand. The company chose FraudWatch following the completion of a successful pilot project last year, and the solution has been rolled out to company-owned NAPA Auto Parts stores nationwide.

FraudWatch is a flexible and easy-to-use solution for detecting fraud and policy violations. Designed by loss prevention (LP) professionals, FraudWatch is a Web-based system that can be easily accessed from any location via a Web browser, dramatically reducing the cost to deploy and administer the system. FraudWatch offers a fast time-to-benefit ratio and can be implemented inside a retailer's data center, or Triversity can securely host the application. Either way, FraudWatch can be implemented in as little as six weeks, giving organizations a rapid return on investment (ROI) while saving time and resources.

FraudWatch's flexible deployment options were a key reason in NAPA Auto Parts' selection of Triversity. Triversity hosted FraudWatch in a secure ASP (Application Service Provider) environment during the initial implementation, enabling a very rapid deployment; FraudWatch was then transitioned to the Automotive Parts Group's internal data center for hosting. Early results of using FraudWatch have identified opportunities for recovery, and NAPA Auto Parts is now using the solution to examine the current year of POS transaction data.

"NAPA is one of the best-known brands in the automotive industry. Triversity is pleased to be working with NAPA Auto Parts to help make a positive contribution to their operating efficiencies," said David Thomas, president and CEO, Triversity Inc.
