Siemens Building Technologies Names Kohler V.P. of Service

Kohler will oversee service offering for Siemens' building automation, fire safety and security systems business

BUFFALO GROVE, Ill. -- Steve Kohler has been appointed Vice President of Service at Siemens Building Technologies, Inc., and will oversee the company's existing service offerings from its building automation, fire safety and security systems businesses, including Central Monitoring Stations in Dallas and Washington, D.C. Kohler will report directly to President and CEO Daryl Dulaney.

In his new position, Kohler will be responsible for capturing, integrating and promoting company-wide service offerings that best meet customer needs. He will also be charged with harmonizing the service organization's processes, tools, training, product support and product serviceability.

With more than 20 years experience in the service industry, Kohler joined Siemens Building Technologies this past April after five years at Siemens Medical where he played an integral role in the success of its service business. He directed segment management for its Ultrasound and Small Market business, as well as the service business for multiple product lines.

Kohler earned his undergraduate degree from North Carolina State University and his MBA from Duke University.
