VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- Extreme CCTV Inc. (TSX:EXC), the security industry's leading supplier of active infrared night vision surveillance equipment, reported on recent sales momentum in Southeast Asia through distributor O'Connor's Singapore Pte Ltd of Singapore. O'Connor is a key player in engineering and systems integration of world-class products and state-of-the-art technologies systems in Asia. In January of 2005, O'Connor became an exclusive distributor for Singapore. O'Connor also distributes Extreme products in Indonesia.

Recent orders through O'Connor include Extreme's EX82DXL cameras for government official residences in Singapore. The EX82DXL camera by Extreme CCTV is a high- performance 24/7 surveillance camera with integrated active-infrared illumination. Its precision engineered quality picture in both daytime color and night-time infrared make it one of the best cameras on the market today for critical surveillance installations. The highly regarded 24/7 camera is also used by the governments of the USA, UK and Israel for security at official buildings.

Extreme entered the Asian markets in 2004 and installed a direct sales office in China. O'Connor was engaged as a distributor in order to establish a broader geographic presence in the region.

"O'Connor's early sales traction for Extreme CCTV surveillance products in the Southeast Asia region is very encouraging," says Jack Gin, President of Extreme CCTV. "Our target markets in this region include industrial utility sites and government facilities. When security professionals around the world request the best of breed in surveillance equipment, we are finding that our products are often the preferred specification."

O'Connor has also recently confirmed sales of Extreme's UF500 infrared illuminators for important security projects in Indonesia. The patented UF500 infrared illuminator provides powerful infrared nighttime illumination covering several hundred meters. The UF500 model has become a core component of many US Homeland Security and defense applications, especially for perimeter surveillance at sensitive sites and buildings. The UF500 is also being adopted for similar applications in Asia.

As part of Extreme's marketing program in Asia, Extreme CCTV International Inc. will be promoting its product portfolio at the upcoming Security Conference in Singapore later this year. In addition, Extreme CCTV's products will be presented with O'Connor at the conference. This is an important conference for reaching potential Asian customers.
