DXT-601 features one button and one code; DXT-604 offers four buttons and five codes

For use in a wide range of non-supervised, wireless remote control applications, Linear has introduced two DX format miniature transmitters. The DXT-601 is a one-button, single-code model. The DXT-604 features four buttons and five codes - each button sends a unique signal, plus pressing the two large top buttons in tandem sends a fifth signal. Both are supplied with two, long-life, 3-Volt coin cell batteries and a two-part key-ring. Linear's digital DX format offers over one million possible codes. Linear precodes all DXT transmitters at the factory, so no field configuration is needed.

Each transmitter can be programmed into any channel of the desired DX digital receiver. "Learning" the transmitter's code is easy. Once the radio controls are set up, transmitters can signal and trigger receiver activation when their buttons are pressed for a minimum of two seconds and a maximum of 10 seconds. Compatible DX receivers include the one-channel DXR-701 receiver, the two-channel DXR-702 receiver, and the DVS-1200, DVS-2400, Dual 824, and PERS-2400 consoles.
