Wireless ability allows for ease of location, includes 48-zone wireless receiver

BRADENTON, FLA. - GE's Security business (GEsecurity.com) has introduced its NX-148E-RF Networx LCD Keypad, which features an integrated 48-zone wireless receiver. By leveraging the benefits of wireless reception, dealers can assure that the keypad is placed in the very best location for their residential and commercial customers. It is compatible with all GE Networx control panels, except commercial fire. Networx is a popular full-featured security system that uses advanced technology for burglary, fire and environment detection.

"By optimizing accessibility, this wireless keypad provides increased security and convenience for users while extending the capabilities of our popular Networx intrusion system," said Jim Paulson, Security's general manager for Intrusion Solutions. "Dealers will find it easy to install, program and maintain."

Users can either swing the removable door down or simply take it off to access the keypad. Emergency keys are highlighted on the keypad and can be programmed to contact and send complete information to a responding police, fire or EMS unit with a single touch. Five pre-programmed touch keys let users order the keypad to perform its most common functions with a single touch. All keys are backlit to ensure error-free operation, even in dark rooms. The display is easy-to-read and customizable.

The traditional design of the NX-148E-RF wireless keypad blends in with any décor.

The new wireless keypad is available now.
