Indianapolis, IN - April 6, 2005 - Stanley Security Solutions, Inc., a provider of access and security solutions, today introduced its newest digital video surveillance solution, the HBV400 integrated security solution. Specifically designed for the education, healthcare, retail and commercial markets, the HBV400 integrated security solution provides an added, critical layer of security via its hybrid IP camera compatibility, an advanced and integrated video surveillance component.
The HBV400 integrated security solution offers end-users a user-friendly, digital video storage and retrieval security solution ideal for protecting assets, investments and individuals in multiple settings and environments and through numerous applications. With an installed base of over 4000 systems in North America, the digital video solution utilizes a single database server and interface and can be integrated with virtually any technology and device.
Developed as a powerful, next generation security system, the HBV400 integrated security solution can be configured as a 4, 8,16 or 32-camera system with options to incorporate as many as 32 IP cameras, as well as an extensive storage capacity, an impressive connectivity and multiple levels of password protection. With a maximum overall recording rate of 120 fps, using color or black & white cameras, the system is able to help institutions and multi-site facilities, such as school districts and national retailers, maximize their security presence and reliability. As a result, the HBV400 integrated security solution reduces the need of guard services, providing for a more efficient allocation and utilization of security assets and resources.
Users can integrate the system with other Stanley Security Solutions technology-based security systems including the NT500(tm) and B.A.S.I.S.(r) software platforms, such as the ET605, to allow integrated control for video hardware which includes CCTV's, DVR's and IP cameras. Additionally, users can integrate the system with:
- Card access systems to capture access-related data;
- Point of sale systems to capture and query complete receipt data;
- Alarm panels from which alarms can be sent through a WAN/LAN to users. This includes images associated with the alarm as well as video of the event.
"One of the most rapidly growing and critical sectors in the security industry is advanced digital video surveillance, with end users looking to implement the most cutting edge technology solutions on the market," said Jay Vaitkus, product manager for Stanley Security Solutions. "The HBV400(tm) integrated security solution represents a uniquely powerful and versatile video surveillance system that provides a diverse range of functionality, delivering a high-performing and cost efficient security solution."
The HBV400 integrated security solution currently supports both analog and IP camera technology from the same platform. This approach provides customers with a low cost migration path to IP technology without having to incur new investment costs.
Area Based Motion Detection
With the motion detection ability of the system, users can configure its 32-camera system to record motion around a selected area. Multiple areas of the image can be highlighted for movement tracking, prompting the camera to identify and record motion in the selected area. This allows users to more easily and dynamically monitor activity.
