New intelligent video management system enables security professionals to extract value from old CCTV systems

Las Vegas, Nevada -- 3VR Security, Inc., developers of the third generation video recorder, is proud to announce that it was honored with the prestigious New Product Showcase award in the competitive digital video category, at the International Security Conference (ISC) - West 2005. The award recognizes 3VR's Intelligent Video Management System for its unique ability to transform standard record-and-store surveillance products into sophisticated systems that perform extensive, automated analysis on millions of images gathered across hundreds of cameras from virtually any location.

More than 80 new products and services were entered in the program, which was established over a decade ago to identify and showcase innovation in electronic security products and services. Judges based their decision on design, technology, functionality, cost, and market impact.

"This is an important validation for our smart security system," said Stephen Russell, 3VR CEO. "The world's leading organizations are making tremendous investments in security technology, but the net result has created a critical problem in the security industry: too much data and not enough actionable information. 3VR solutions were designed to leverage existing security investments, by adding sophisticated analytics that enable global companies to identify and address security breaches as they occur. We are thrilled with the excitement and attention our products are generating at ISC-West."

"On behalf of the Security Industry Association and Reed Exhibitions, we'd like to extend our congratulations to 3VR," said Richard Chace, Security Industry Association executive director. "It gives us tremendous pride to see innovative companies like 3VR create products that so profoundly change the security industry landscape."
