Cypress Computer Systems Presented SIA New Product Showcase Award for WiFi Duprex- DPX-7212

Cypress' presentation demonstrated the revolutionary capabilities of this IP based product

Las Vegas, NV -- Cypress Computer Systems, Inc., a leading designer and manufacturer of access control and security related products, announced that the WiFi Dupex (DPX-7212) was awarded the SIA's New Product Showcase Award in the Wireless Category.

The award was accepted by Tony Diodato, Ken Tysick and Paul Ahern. Cypress' presentation demonstrated the revolutionary capabilities of this IP based product including: the ability to interface traditional access control panels and readers on an IP based network and how to integrate software based virtual access control panels. The DPX-7212 - WiFi DUPREX provides a secure, supervised link between an access control panel and card readers using the wireless Ethernet standard 802.11 protocol.

Standard or proprietary readers can be used supporting Wiegand, magnetic stripe, proximity,F/2F, barcode or biometric formats. Additionally, the DPX-7212 supports door strike, LED, request to exit and door monitoring signals. By utilizing existing network infrastructure, the DPX-7212 WiFi Dupex provides a cost effective, time saving solution to traditional hardwiring."
