Users can employ megapixel images with existing systems

Ridgefield Park, NJ, August 24, 2005 --DVTel Inc., multiple award-winning market leader in delivering integrated IP security solutions for surveillance and monitoring, today announced that its Latitude Network Video Management System (NVMS) now supports IQinVision's multi-megapixel IQeye IP cameras. DVTel’s Latitude Network Video Management System (NVMS) is a fully digital, IP-based software video, audio, and data management system, that offers the monitoring, recording, and analysis functionality required for effectively responding to any security challenge.

According to Paul Smith, DVTel COO, "For many applications, standard resolution images simply could not provide the level of detail our customers needed. Now that DVTel supports IQinVision’s 1, 2 and 3-megapixel cameras our customers have a new level of flexibility and choice to meet their specific demands.”

The DVTel NVMS enables live viewing and recording of multi-megapixel images so that every detail is captured. Its unique digital PTZ interface lets users navigate IQeye images digitally without experiencing any of the distortion common to lower resolution systems. Digital Pan/Tilt/Zoom is great for remote viewing. DPTZ lets you record the full megapixel image locally while sending only the portion of the image you are interested in over the network which is great for saving bandwidth.

“This integration represents a major benefit for both integrators and end-users," said Paul Bodell, IQinVision's Vice President of Sales and Marketing “DVTel’s seamless integration with the IQeye enables any end user to harness the power of multi-megapixel images while using a system they are familiar with, a system they trust.”
