S2 Security Corporation Opens European Office

S2 Security Corporation (S2) today announced that it has opened an international sales office outside of London (UK). The office will service the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) markets, and is led by Phil Mailes, a security industry veteran experienced in the sale and installation of integrated systems. Phil most recently operated a sales office in the UK for the Lenel Systems unit of United Technologies.

"We believe that there is a strong market for third generation, network-based security management systems in EMEA and are pleased to add Phil's experience to our sales team to manage this emerging market," said John L. Moss, president and CEO, S2 Security Corporation. "The UK office is the first of a series of corporate expansions, both within the U.S. and globally, that we are planning for the next eighteen months in order to capitalize on the growth potential of the S2 NetBox and its derivative products."

The S2 NetBox product line is unique among security management system products because of its network-based, solid state network appliance design and Web interface that requires no client software installation.

S2 offers its products through a network of independent systems integrators, OEMs, and distributors and has completed installations in the Americas, Africa, Europe, and Asia. Funding for expansion of its sales presence comes from a round of private investment that was recently completed.
