Safeguard Security Announces New President at Superior Protection

Joe Peek to serve as head of Houston subsidiary

HOUSTON - Safeguard Security Holdings, Inc., a provider of integrated security systems and personnel announced today that it has appointed Joseph Peek as president of its Superior Protection subsidiary in Houston.

Brown Glenn, Chief Executive Officer of Safeguard, stated, "Joe is one of the most highly regarded corporate security specialists in the southwest and a great leader and motivator. We are committed to building an integrated security solutions franchise. Joe's familiarity with electronic security systems applications will be invaluable at Superior, which has been almost exclusively a provider of security personnel."

Joe Peek has spent more than twenty years in high-level investigations and security, including eight years in the United States Air Force as a Special Investigator and Captain. Prior to coming over to Superior Protection from Systems Group, another Safeguard operating company, he had spent the previous six years with the Dallas Museum of Art and before that, the Mary Kay Corporation, as Director of Security. He is considered expert in all aspects of corporate and personal security including the use of sophisticated digital security systems in corporate environments. He is a proven leader and motivator.

Peek received his BA in Business Administration at Rutgers University - Camden, NJ, his MA in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix and Arabic Language Studies at the Defense Language Institute - Monterey, CA.
