Panasonic Security Systems Appoints Product Marketing Managers

Lazatin to focus on surveillance; Robinson to focus on digital recording solutions

Secaucus, NJ -- Panasonic Security Systems, a division of Panasonic System Solutions Company (PSSA), continues to expand its marketing force with personnel additions at the company's headquarters. The announcement, made by PSSA President Frank DeFina, includes the appointments of Miguel Lazatin and Paul Robinson who both join the company to fill these newly created positions.

"Miguel and Paul add a new dimension to our traditional product management efforts due to their extensive marketing and product sales expertise," said Mr. DeFina. "We recognize the need to embrace new ideas and directions both from a technical and marketing perspective to deliver security solutions that are most appropriate for our customers, and we believe Miguel and Paul have the marketing and management skills to help us define and pursue new strategies."

Miguel is responsible for Panasonic's extensive line of video surveillance and security cameras. Previously, Miguel was with Sony Electronics where he held several strategic management positions over a 12-year tenure with the company. Miguel holds an MBA from Boston University Graduate School of Management.

Paul is responsible for Panasonic's existing and emerging line of digital recording solutions. He recently completed his MBA in Marketing Management at Fordham University, where he was chosen by GE for a field study consulting project focusing on the "voice of the end user". Paul has nearly 15 years of experience in business development, strategic planning and events marketing.

In their roles as Product Marketing Managers, Miguel and Paul will focus on product positioning along with the analysis of competitive systems and industry trends.

Both appointments are effective immediately.
