Interactive training now available for company's line of digital recorders and network video servers

Dedicated Micros Inc. of Chantilly, Va., now offers a web-based, interactive training course for their entire line of digital recorders and network video servers.

The training provides customers with 24/7 online access to learn about a product, refresh their skills and to train new staff quickly and efficiently on the function, features and operations of Dedicated Micros recorders and servers.

It also provides instruction on connections and installations, with scroll-over audio and text balloons, to ensure that the customer understands the significance of each connector and component.

An interactive simulation segment allows customers to practice using all functions for both the front panel as well as the network.

Interactive product setup, programming and operation simulations are also provided to help customers learn to use the product quickly and effectively.

"This innovative program allows users to move through each program at their own pace," said Don Taylor, vice president of marketing for Dedicated Micros, "and to skip back and forth to areas of particular interest with the click of a mouse. We believe it provides a new level of customer support."

A separate link in the Learning Management System allows Dedicated Micros to certify training and to monitor training compliance for participants requiring installation certification.
